Chase Card

Chase cards are THE cards. These are the ones everyone is hunting for when they crack a pack — the autographs, the numbered parallels, the rookie patch cards, the rare inserts that stop you in your tracks. Every product has a limited number of them mixed in among the base cards, and they’re what separate a “nice rip” from an “I need to sit down for a minute” kind of rip.

You know the feeling: you tear open a pack and start speed-flipping through the base, barely even looking, and then suddenly something catches your eye. The thickness of the card is different. The design pops. You see a serial number on the front. That’s the chase card moment, and it’s what keeps collectors ripping pack after pack. Some people don’t care about base at all — they’re exclusively in it for the chase. And honestly? That’s a perfectly valid way to enjoy the hobby. The chase is the whole point for a lot of us.
